The Rebeltec H1065 GaN charger is a type of charger that uses gallium nitride semiconductor elements – hence its name. GaN is an abbreviation for the chemical names of gallium (Ga) and nitrogen (N). This second phase of charging aims to ensure the safety of the battery and user and to avoid potentially dangerous failures resulting from cell damage or overheating of the phone.#13#10#13#10The REBELTEC H1045 charger is equipped with the PPS protocol – which stands for Programmable Power Supply – a standard under USB Power Delivery (USB PD) that enables dynamic adjustment of voltage and current supplied to the charging device. Traditional chargers often offer fixed voltages (e.g., 5V, 9V, 12V, 20V). PPS, however, allows for voltage adjustment in small steps, usually every 20mV, in the range from 3.3V to 21V. Almost every smartphone manufacturer has its own fast charging system dedicated to its devices. Therefore, there arose a need for a kind of standardization of fast charging technology. In response, the PPS protocol – Programmable Power Supply was created. It is a charging scheme that can be used to charge various devices regardless of the brand.
